Who would have dreamed that you would stay with me and the rest of the pack for so long. Saying goodbye is not the hardest part, but making the decision when to say goodbye is the hardest. Your body has been slowly deteriorating for a while, which is very natural as you get older, but despite the dementia, there was not a real good reason to make the decision. Your hindquarters were failing more and more, especially on slippery floors and our walkies became shorter each week. Was that a good reason? I certainly wanted to keep it dignified for you and not be too late with the decision to let you walk the rainbow bridge. On August 10 we said goodbye to you, Dhjun and Hukka were there too. I miss you my dearest and beloved Chjenzi.
