On October 27th we went to the vet in Putten for health (breeding) screening of SamicLahja Björk Ihkku and Tabanyaruu Wihta Liivu. Elena was so kind to drive Kantaa to the vet. First on the program was the ECVO eye examination. Both dog are clear for eye disorders so next thin was to check the patellars for luxation, also both dog free so a good start of the morning. We had to wait a while before the dogs could get their x-rays. Kantaa went in first en second Liivu. Liivu could not get the elbow x-rays because she is still to young, the need to be 18 months old. The x-rays looked very promising but I had to wait a week for the result did come back from the Dutch Kennel club, Raad van Beheer. Monday the second of November the results came in and both dogs are HD A assessed and Kantaa also ED free. Happy with these results so both dogs are therefore suitable for breeding according to the FLVN breeding regulations.
